Radial Capacitors
Panasonic Radial Capacitors are available from 85°C Standard up to 125°C, which is most suitable for automotive applications. The focus, future trend and roadmap is on high technology products, like very low Equivalent Series Resistance, very high Ripple Current capability or very long life.Radial Capacitors FM series (Long Life, Very Low ESR)

In comparison to our current products, the Impedance value is 40 to 70% lower and the ripple
current value is 1,5 times higher. The max. life time is up to 7000h@105°C.
FM Series is available from 6,3V up to 50V. The max. capacitance is 6800uF; the min. ESR
level is only 16mOhm (20°C/100kHz). The series is RoHS compliant.
Radial Capacitors EE Series (High Voltage / High Ripple / Long Life)
The new EE series provides the best solution for electronic ballast and is available in high voltage (160V-450V) with capacity values starting from 6,8uF up to 330uF. The lifetime is 8.000h - 10.000h @ 105°C. Due to a very high ripple current feature a calculated life time of more than 50.000h is possible.
Panasonic offers also different types of lead formings, which allow mounting the part
horizontally on the pcb in order to reduce height (T5 ballast)
