SMD Capacitors High Temperature
High temperature SMD Capacitor Series for lead free processes
Since RoHS and Lead Free soldering started, the European market
requires for SMD Electrolytic capacitors new series that can survive higher case temperatures.
Panasonic is offering now many new or updated series, which are able to withstand a soldering profile of up to 260°C
These series are in most cases marked in the part number with the Suffix "A" at the end (e.g.
EEFC1V100AP). These series are (V)S-A, HB-A, FC-A, FK-A.
Beside these series, there is TK series available, which is designed for severe working
condition of 125°C over 3.000 hours
