Can I play different region coded DVD movies on my DVD drive?

Yes. When a movie is played on the drive for the first time, the drive will be set to whichever region the disc is.  After that, a disc with a different region can be played and the region code of the drive will be changed accordingly.  After five such changes, the drive will be permanently set to the region code at that time with no further changes possible.
